History
As a young man, Ted Collas surrendered his life to Christ at a Fellowship of Christian Athlete’s Camp in Honolulu, HI. During the camp, the attendees would run in a military formation while singing a cadence:
“King Jesus Is All
My All-in-All
And I know He’ll answer
Every time I call”
This became a mantra for Ted that he shared with his two sons, David and Michael. Shortened to “K.J.I.A.” The family would use this abbreviation as a reminder that all of life is to be turned back to Christ as an offering of worship.
As a father himself, Michael Collas is passionate about sharing his faith with his three sons and raising Kingdom Warriors. Michael is a career firefighter, and is honored to serve his community. Though his occupation in Firefighter/Paramedic, his calling is to be a servant. Michael holds a strong conviction to share the truth of the Christ with others and to develop men and women into the servants-leaders they were made to be.
Michael’s heart bleeds for men and women to know who they are in Christ so that they can love and serve others more fully.
Vision
We envision a generation fully alive in Christ—grounded in faith, unwavering in truth, and boldly walking in their God-given purpose.
Through clear biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, and authentic Christian living, we aim to see families, churches, and communities renewed by those who passionately pursue God—men and women who know the Word, live the text, and proclaim the Gospel with conviction and love.
K.J.I.A. Ministries
was created to see:
Boys grow into men, men transform into Christian Men, and Christian Men humble themselves into Active and intentional imitators of Jesus Christ.
Women embrace their Identity in ChrISt, being clothed In Strength and Dignity, and grow as confident and faithful Daughters of the King.
Statement of Faith
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, made available by Jesus’ finished work on the cross, received by faith, and evidenced by good works that flow necessarily from a transformed and surrendered heart—through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit.
K.J.I.A. Ministries stands firmly on the foundation of historic Christian orthodoxy to equip and encourage believers and non-believers alike, to deepen their faith by submitting to the authority of God as revealed in Scripture.

There is one God, the uncreated Creator and Sustainer of all things, who exists necessarily and is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being. As the source of objective truth and justice, we proclaim that God is love. God, existing outside of time, created everything, time, space, and matter ex nihilo by speaking them into existence.

Fully God while Fully Man, Jesus of Nazareth was and is God incarnate, the Word made flesh, who was the promised and prophesied Messiah of the Old Testament. Born to the Virgin Mary, Jesus lived a sinless life, died by crucifixion, was buried, and resurrected from the dead. He now sits at the Father’s right hand and is coming back as it is written in the Holy Scriptures. It is through belief in Jesus and His atoning sacrifice that humanity has been made right in the eyes of God, and through Him alone, salvation is extended to all people and secured in those who submit to Him as their Lord, King, and Savior.

The Spirit of God, distinct from the Father and the Son, is fully God, co-equal in nature, essence, and attributes. The Holy Spirit indwells the lives of faithful believers, empowering them to live in accordance with God’s commands.

There is only one God. God has revealed Himself to humanity in three distinct yet united persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All persons of the Godhead are coequal, coeternal, and worthy of all glory, honor, and worship. Though the persons of the Trinity are separate in distinction and role, there is only one God.

The Bible is the holy, inspired, and inerrant Word of God. Penned by men inspired by the Holy Spirit, we believe all Scripture is God-breathed. All Scripture is the testimony of Jesus Christ, the divine revelation and source of salvation, deserving of full acceptance.
